Light enough for my grandmother to carry

Are Spools tiles really full size?
Yes. Each tile is 1.4 x 1 x 0.4 inches, a full-size American mahjong tile. They are lighter because they are partially hollow, not because they are smaller.
How much does a set weigh?
The 160 tiles weigh 1.6 lbs. With racks, pushers, and dice, the whole kit is about 3 pounds.
Do the tiles really float?
Yes. They are designed to float if they fall in the pool during a game. They are splash-resistant, not made for long submersion. Rinse with fresh water after chlorine or salt water and let them air dry.
What comes with a set?
160 American mahjong tiles (144 base tiles, 10 jokers, and 6 blanks), a tile pouch, and 4 dice (2 floating, 2 regular). Mats are not included.
Are racks and pushers included?
No. They are sold separately in matching colors, and you can add them on any tile set's page. The travel mahjong racks are 20 inches assembled and split in half to fit in a purse.
Are the tiles made of foam?
No. They are hard plastic (PLA), partially hollow to keep them light. They still make a real click when you shuffle.
