The famous Spools Floating Mahjong Pool set features summer-themed tile art throughout: sunny jokers, ocean-inspired flower tiles, and multiple color palettes built for poolside play.
Every tile floats, so a stray tile never sinks to the bottom of the pool. At just 1.6 lbs, a full set is light enough to bring anywhere, but heavy enough for a satisfying game. Full-size American tiles, easy to read in any light.
3D printed in the USA and hand-inspected. Add matching racks and pushers to build your complete set.

Every order of mahjong tiles includes:
- 160 American Mahjong Tiles (144 base tiles, 10 jokers, and 6 blanks)

Note: Mahjong mats are not included.

- Tiles are 1.4 x 1 x 0.4 inches. A tile set weighs 1.6 lbs.
- Racks and pushers are 20 inches long when assembled.
- Two-player racks are 19 inches long when assembled.
Care instructions
Your Spools set is designed to go where you go. Here's how to keep it in great shape.
Water and pool play: Tiles, racks, and pushers are splash-resistant and designed to float if they fall in during gameplay. They are not intended for extended submersion.
Post-game care: After exposure to chlorine or salt water, rinse with cool fresh water and allow to air dry completely.
Storage: Store your set in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
Extreme heat: Avoid prolonged exposure to heat above 122F, such as hot cars or hot summer surfaces.
Safety and warnings
WARNING: Choking hazard. Mahjong tiles are small parts. Not suitable for children. Keep out of reach of children and pets, and discard damaged products.
WARNING: Magnets. The mega tile display case contains magnets embedded in the lid. While magnets are enclosed, they may come loose if the case is damaged. Swallowed magnets can stick together across intestines causing serious injury or death. Seek immediate medical attention if swallowed. Keep out of reach of children. Not suitable for children under 14. Magnets may interfere with pacemakers and other implanted medical devices. Keep away from credit cards, electronics, and magnetic media.

I'm an engineer, so I started over from the tile up. Full-size tiles, racks that split in half, and a whole kit that weighs about 3 pounds. The same game she loves, light enough to bring.

No. The tiles are made out of a hard plastic material, called PLA, and they are partially hollow to be lightweight. They make a great noise when you shuffle the tiles, and have a fantastic hand-feel.
The tiles alone weigh 1.6 lbs, much lighter than a traditional Mahjong set.

These are so cute! I love the flamingo floatie dragons! Playing Mahjong in the pool with friends was such a hit! Just FYI these are smaller than typical tiles, so they didn't fit will in the slots of my floating foam mat, and they are also significantly lighter so feel much different. Doesn't bother me, but I could see purests taking issue.
The tiles are VERY cool and actually do float. The tiles also look like they have been sewn which is neat. The one thing I would change is that the bag that they come in is not waterproof, water resistant or anything. In fact, it is dry clean only. But that's my only comment.

I’m sure there will be a home for them in my suitcase when I travel, but for now a staycation playing Mahjongg in my pool with friends is the best!
